Estes and Estes West earn top industry awards
RICHMOND, VA — Estes and its subsidiary Estes West have been voted as top carriers in Logistics Management Magazine's 25th annual Quest for Quality Awards competition. Estes has been named one of the top five carriers in the Multiregional Less Than Truckload (LTL) category, and Estes West has been identified as one of the top three Western Regional LTL Carriers.
Referred to as “the ultimate vote of confidence,” by Logistics Management, the awards are the result of a survey to over 6,100 qualified buyers of logistics and transportation services. Criteria include excellence in On-time Performance, Information Technology, Customer Service and Equipment & Operations, and only those shippers that finish well above the average make it onto the list.
“Since our corporate goal is to deliver solutions that exceed our customers' expectations, this distinction validates the path that we're on,” said President and CEO Rob Estes. “Thousands of Estes team members have taken this predominant goal to heart and are giving it 150 percent every day. It's very gratifying for all of us to know that the efforts we're making to enhance the customer experience are being noticed.”
