Estes Opens New Terminal in Fulton, Georgia

ATLANTA (August 18, 2015)—Estes Express Lines, a premier freight transportation provider, has opened a new terminal in southwest Atlanta to serve the increased demand for the company‚Äôs services in the Greater Atlanta Region.

“The new Fulton terminal provides quick and easy access to a major highway network in the southwest Atlanta area, where the new terminal will help us continue to meet our customers’ growing needs,” said Steve Smitherman, Estes’ director of operations planning. “The new terminal will help Estes manage an increased workload while continuing to serve our customers with dependability and excellence throughout the region.”

Positioned at 6125 Duquesne Drive in Atlanta, the new Fulton Terminal is located off of U.S. Rt. 70 and Rt. 6, with quick access to both Interstates 285 and 20. The Fulton terminal provides 61 doors and will begin operations as an Estes facility on August 17, under the supervision of Terminal Manager Alvin Glass. With the opening of the Fulton terminal, Estes now operates seven terminals in Georgia.
